Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. Sloviko has no sign-up and no ads. The whole dictionary ships with the app and works offline.
Where is my progress stored?
On your device only. Because there is no account, progress does not transfer to another device and is removed if you delete the app.
How does the word rotation work?
You learn an active stack of 5 to 100 words at a time (20 by default). Words you answer correctly leave the rotation and return after 7, 14, 30, and 90 days. Words you miss come back sooner. You can change the stack size in settings.
How do I turn the daily reminder on or off?
The reminder is off by default. Turn it on or off in the app's settings; you can also disable notifications for Sloviko in your device settings.
Which languages are supported?
Words are translated into 18 languages, and the interface is available in 19. If a translation looks wrong, email us with the word and your language — we fix reported entries.
