Privacy Policy
Rowline is a knitting and crochet companion developed by MordanSoft. It shows the patterns you already own and counts your rows. This policy explains what happens to your data — and the short answer is: it stays on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. Rowline has no accounts, no sign-up and no servers of its own. We do not collect, store or transmit your name, email address, location, contacts or any other personal information.
Your patterns
The patterns you import — PDF files, photos of a page, or pages you open by link — are stored in the app's private storage on your device. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. We do not read them, we do not copy them, and we never share them.
Rowline does not sell, host or generate patterns. It works only with the files you bring yourself, and the copyright in those patterns remains with their authors.
Your projects and notes
Projects, counters, notes and progress are stored in a local database on your device. If you use Export, a backup file is created and goes wherever you send it — that file is yours, and it does not pass through us.
When the app uses the internet
Only when you ask it to: if you import a pattern by link, the app downloads that page from the address you entered. No other network requests are made by the app.
Camera and photo library
If you choose to photograph a pattern page or pick an image, the app asks for permission at that moment. The images are used only to build your pattern and are kept on your device. You can decline, and everything else in the app keeps working.
Purchases
Rowline is free for two projects with every feature unlocked. Unlimited projects and export are a single one-time purchase — not a subscription. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google; we never see your card details or billing information. We receive only the fact that a purchase was made, from the store itself.
Analytics and advertising
Rowline shows no advertising and contains no advertising SDKs. We do not profile you and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Children
Rowline is a tool for crafters and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date below. Material changes will also be mentioned in the app's release notes.
